if you get this error in Fortnite: Save the World which says “Failed to lock profile. We’re just making sure your progress is recorded properly. Please try again in a couple minutes”
This is usually a server problem just give your self 1 hour and try again
Also some people reported that they where able to fix this error by try the following
Restart the game & launcher. There may be an update
Reboot your console or PC.
